I asked because I hoped someone knew something I didn't.  Thanks for asking.

I pretty much knew that.  I have the book in German, but I have to use google translate or scan and translate and they are pretty inadequate. I just thought I'd put it out there if someone knew something differently.

Does ANYONE know if these were ever translated into English?  If so, where I can find them?  Thanks.

Ugh, you can see why I need an editor... the message should have read "....slightly LARGER print."

If this has already been anounced on this page, please admins. delete!  Just wanted to alert people who may have wanted to obtain a copy that THE FOUR GRACES is available again!!  The differences are a few corrections, double the amount of photographs and slightly alrger print.

Thank you!!

The Habsburgs / Re: Assassination/Archduke by King and Woolmans
« on: November 01, 2013, 11:38:01 AM »
Finished this book last night... I really enjoyed it...as usual, Greg, top job, and great writing partner in Sue Woolmans, whose love for this subject is well-known to a lot of us.  For a couples whose murder began the horrible carnage of World War I, it's astounding that people know so little about them or know so many unsubstantiated rumors about them.  Really, there should be classes taught about this!!!!  Excellent, and, again well done to Greg and Sue!!!

Janet, how funny... I loved that chapter.  Really enjoyed the look at their daily lives... oh well... makes the world go round, eh?

Advice to my Granddaughter is wonderful.  It's a compilation of letters from Queen Victoria to Princess Victoria of Hesse and by Rhine.  Richard Hough did this after he wrote the biography of the "first Mountbattens" Louis and Victoria.  Sadly, you don't have Princess Victoria's letter's back, but you can certainly get what's going on and what she's writing her grandmother about... The relationship shines through every letter... highly recommended.

Hey Ally, I don't have any copies of the Four Graces or I'd send you... but the reprint will be sometime in the Fall, definitely this year!!!

Wonder if Joanna Knatchbull named after the little one.

There will be a reprint of the FOUR GRACES.  The price should then be normal, probably they are used copies since the book isn't available right now.
