Olga Nicholaievna / Re: Locking Trina's Maid in Water-Closet
« on: March 31, 2020, 11:56:20 PM »
Looking at this article: http://orthochristian.com/28491.html. Katya and Maria seemed to have ended up in exile when Trina was killed. Does anyone know how old they were at the time of the water closet event?

She looks so lovely and mature here.

Thanks for that. I was guessing it was around engagement time.

Okay. Thanks for the information.

ah, alright. Thanks for the information. Did you just recognize the instrument correctly or can I read this information somewhere? I find it hard to get information on KR's children.

I have seen this. While inaccurate I did think the Come Now Comrades song sung by Rasputin was pretty good.

Books about the Romanovs and Imperial Russia / Re: Upcoming Books 2015

I came upon this book "Anastasia and Her Sisters" it's fiction however. http://www.amazon.com/Anastasia-Her-Sisters-Carolyn-Meyer/dp/1481403265. It's written by the same Arthur who wrote the Royal Diaries Anastasia.

Trying to, Tim! ;-)

With Alexei and Amama

The grand duchess in this photo looks too small to be Tatiana--I'd say it's Marie.

It looks like someone is standing between the Grand Duchess and the woman next to her. I think i see a feather and part of a sleeve. Anastasia perhaps?

Having Fun! / Re: Photoshoped Images II

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I hope it's alright. I intend to start a project of working on OTMAA and their families as if they had survived and to do a line onto current day.  If that makes any sense, basically a line of the monarchy if it had survived to today with a series of photoshopped images.  Anyways, to start off the line I would have to have an adult version of Alexei.  So I've been messing around a bit and would like anyone's input on if any of these look like an adult version of the tsarevich.

Oh my, how I would love to read this! I wished I could have included them in my fiction novel but alas such little information didn't make for a story.

this is my favorite branch of the family but like you said, little is to be found on Igor in his siblings. I do know that he was the most of outgoing of his siblings and spoke too loudly often. He was present when Oleg died. Six months after his brother Oleg was dead he and Gavrill and Konstantin went to visit his grave on Ostashevo where the family wintered. Because of his illness he was not aloud to return to the front after recovering from pneumonia but went to the emperor because he didn't know what to do if he couldn't go back to the war and hoped to be an aide to the emperor. He was good at turning conversations and was able the get the tsar the make him one. At the front he spent time with Alexei the heir on the bank of the the Dnieper playing games. There are photos of these such days. Once while playing tennis at the Head Quarters he dislocated his foot and was kept in bed.

It's not much information and I'm always looking for more as well. I sometimes find interesting sites by searching his name in Russian.
