I always feel out-of-place in my family. I'm nothing like my sister or my brother...I'm a little like my dad and Mom...but I always thought I was adopted till I was like 14 when my mom got tied of me asking if I was, and she pulled out the video of me birth....lol sometimes I wish I was adopted! But I'm a lot like Anastasia, and my sister is like Maria, she is the prettier one of us (well that's what my grandma says). and my brother....well he's not like any of the Romanovs....he's a nerd! lol My Dad is strict like Nicholas, but my mom is nothing like Alix.

I started reading about the Romanovs when I was in 2ed grade. it all stared after I saw the 1997 movie "Anastasia" you know, the cartoon. my school was having a book sale and the book "Anastasia's album" was there, and my sister bought it....about 4 years later I was watching the movie with my friends and it got me thinking...what really happened to Anastasia? and her family? I Went and got my sisters book and started reading it...I was shocked! Anastasia had not lived (not like in the movie) then this year my friend Mel was over and we were watching the movie again (she had never seen it!) and I got on the web and started searching for "Anastasia" and "Anna Anderson" and I started reading new books (well new too me) like "The riddle of Anna Anderson" and ever since then I've been reading and looking at every Romanov thing i can find. The funny thing is, a month ago all I talked about was Harry Potter and the next book (July 21st!) and reading Harry Potter fanfics and now I'm all Romanov all the time! I'm always on here!! lol I know, I'm weird! now I know a lot about them and their life...there is little that I don't know!

All...I've never been a fan of my own Brother and sister...and I've always wanted a little brother like Alyosha! lol and me and Anastasia would be like twins(I've always felt like she is my sister! so that would be cool) and I'd have 3 older sisters lol....that would be cool.....and I think I'd like Nicky as a dad and Alix as my mother..lol I know I'm odd.

My Favorite Romanov is Anastasia....And Nicky and Alyosha too!

But I have been reading about Anastasia since I was like 10 (and I'm 16 now) and I feel as if I know her, and we are connected, you know? we are a lot alike, we both love taking Photos and I'm the shortest in my family, and I'm a clown! when I was little I loved playing pranks on my sibs. haha and I still do! I some time wish I could go back in time and meet her. how cool would that be?

I've got it taped off of the Tv....I like this movie! even if it was choppy...I didn't know Natasha was raped by Rasputin in the movie...wow not good...

Anastasia has one line in the movie(something about her papa's chair) and Maria has a lot (I didn't count)

All in all...it's a good movie....the end sense is great.

Actually, this is the last known photo of Aleksei:



It was taken on board the steamship Rus in May of 1918, during the children's transfer to Yekaterinburg. The one you posted was taken in Tobolsk, probably in April.

Thank you! I've seen that photo before and that's what I thought to, but then today I found the other one and the caption said "The last photo of the Tsarevich Alexei" but I guess they were wrong. lol again thanks.
