There are many photos in The catalogue
It's 175 pages of photos of documents,letters, bones,telegrams....you name it,
I saw the exhibition and it was really amazing.
Even not reading Russian well ,I got by somehow.
It's not possible to post all the pictures from it here.just to many,

By the way Columbia university has a small exhibition going on right now ,with few interesting pieces(photo albums ,personal objects,documents ) ,if I am not mistaking they have a copy of the draft of Nicholas II abdication

That's so true, now I know why there are WWII German cemeteries in Slovakia and they  are very well taken care of by the Germany .I always found that little strange as a kid

Now I remember, when I visited mikulov, seeing the huge wine barrel there I took a picture of it.
Since I am in Prague often I love to visit the most castles as I can and learn about Czech nobility
If you don't mind to pm me and suggest anything ?I speak Czech and got not many books but started with Pribehy cesky slechty and Navraty  cesky slechty.

Sorry wanted to say ...have you visited...typing on the iPhone and it's to small to do that...now I remember years ago I visited mikulov and saw the family tree painted on the wall there with the last member Mercedes.it's amazing that the castle was rebuild after the war!took lots a pictures very nice place

in Libochovice, there is a portrait of Alexandrina┬┤s mother, Ekaterina Shuvalova. Copy of this portrait is also in castle Sternberk. Portrait of Alexandrina (owned by family Dietrichstein-Leloir) is now exhibited in castle Mikulov.
Hi beladona is this castle cesky sternberk?how u visited libochovice and mikulov?
