Ooooh, hang on to your hats everybody......photos of Princess Charlotte are going to be released this evening. Her mum has taken them herself!
Watch this space.....

I like the idea of calling Princess Charlotte "Lottie". another short form for Charlotte.

I think the Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha-Battenbergs should call her Löttchen :-) After all, UKIP lost the election most overwhelmingly, so being ever so European = German is the feeling du jour.

Well, that would go down like a ton of bricks in the UK

Hot from Kensington Palace...it's official.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is the little bubba's name

No but according to the " bookies", Charlotte, Alice and Victoria are the favourites at the moment.

The Tudors / Re: Richard III and the Princes in the Tower

The only thing the DNA would show is wether the two skeletons were related to each other. As DNAgenie has said, we have no mtDNA to compare with in this case.

The Tudors / Re: Wolf Hall

Oh my days...you are in for such a treat. The execution of Anne is absolutely heart rending. best depiction I have ever seen.
it is very dark which is something you get acclimatized to very quickly. By this I mean there was no "modern" lighting used during filming, so its candles all the way.
It is a dramatisation of Wolf Hall and the follow up, Bring up the Bodies. They are waiting now for Ms Mantel to finiish writing the third novel of the trilogy and then they will start filming that one.

Don't know about mumps but according to Christopher Warwick, Ella had a problem with uterine fibroids eventually requiring surgery. If these were sub mucosal fibroids, Ella would probably have problems conceiving.

The Tudors / Wolf Hall
« on: January 31, 2015, 02:07:57 PM »
The BBC is showing a 6 part serialisation of Hilary Mantel's book " Wolf Hall" at the moment. If anyone out there gets a chance to see this production they are in for such a treat. Mark Rylance is utterly mesmerising as Cromwell and Henry VIII is played by a brilliantly simmering Damian Lewis.
I cannot recommend this highly enough for any Tudor " nerds " out there.

Well, it's being reported that Charlene was safely delivered of a boy and girl this afternoon. They were born by Caesarian Section. Many congrats to them.
