Karland Zita, many thanks for the 4th picture you posted, this of OTMAA at board of the Mejen in 1913, for their Tricentenary trip. Could you indicate me your soure? I am looking for more picture of this journey on the Volga.
I know I've seen that photo in a book -- hopefully, it's in one of MY books! I will try to find it for you. If I don't post a reply within a week, please remind me with a PM.  ;)

It is on "The Romanovs, love, power and tragedy"  ;)

Here it is an other picture from the section posted by Nadya:

Bonjour à tous!  :D
;)) Ca me fascine!

If I am not wrong, it is from left to right :  Kirill Vladimorovich, Andrei Vladimorovich, Ernst Ludwig, Victoria Melita, Nicholas, Alexandra, Nicholas of greece, Marie of Romania ?, and Boris Vladimorovich.

In october 1899, Nicholas and Alexandra were in Wolfsgarten, in a property of Ernst, there are some others pictures in the book of Michel de grèce "Nicolas and Alexandra, L'album de famille"  ( with sadly, some errors in captions), and on a french documentary of Frédéric Miterrand, for those who are interested.

Never mind that last post -- it's not Vyrubova's house at all, I think it's the dacha at Peterhof!

Once again, here are the photos in question:

Now, look at the grapevines on the wall of Alix's reception room at Peterhof:

And look at this nearly identical piano in Aleksei's reception room Peterhof:

Finally, I've marked an identical piece of lattice-work in these two photos. The one of Maria was taken in Alix's reception room:

So, could this mystery-room be anything but a new view of Alix's reception room at the Peterhof dacha?

Well done Sarushka  ;)

An other view of your room

In this formal shot, it is the same motif but not the same floor

It is exactly the same furniture in those pictures :
