One would think not. All have been accounted for, and we can rest assured that they are all together. Unfortunately that will never be enough for some people. It seems that the desire for mystery and conspiracy will persist despite fact.

As you say, whichever sister it is, all have been finally found, and will hopefully rest soon. I do just hope so very much that they will have reached this point by the summer of next year. Has there been any statement or suggestion as to this?

Expect a statement  within the next few months , about identities , and about re-burial .

Purely because I'm tired of Anastasia conspiracy theories

Amazing how these conspiracies are still happening.  I mean the whole family has been accounted for.  They all died on July 17th, 1918, regardless of who was in that second grave.

Nah, that's fake news Tim . I have alternative facts that say otherwise ..... 'Anastasiaists' fit very well into this current zeitgeist .  Evidence can be dismissed with a wave of the hand amid accusations of being naive and brainwashed , before being pointed towards  highly questionable 'counter-evidence'. How susceptible people are to outlandish theories ! People will believe anything apparently , no matter how irrational and un-scientific. It's in our nature I guess.

Personally I just hope in 18 months time (July 2018) that all the remains are interred together (as I think they will be that month , but where ? who knows?) . It won't stop the crazies from bleating about Ana Andersons ears , hair , bunyans , etc , but at least WE will be grateful for the saga of the Romanov remains to have finally reached its end.

If I had commissioned an artist to paint Marie and Anastasia and this was the result I would be demanding a refund. No resemblance , not even close , regardless of ages , hair up or down , etc.

For UK viewers there is a new BBC series on right now , 'Six Wives with Lucy Worsley' about Henry VIII's spouses obviously. It is shot in an unusual manner - Worsley dressing up (plus ca change) in period clothing and witnessing the action as a bystander (a maid) whilst narrating the events in front of her , and even 'acting' on occasion. Depending on your viewpoint ; this is either an interesting and innovative approach to history , or plumbing new depths of self indulgence and gimmickry . I can't decide which. Still , it's a story that never ceases to fascinate.

Although the proof would not emerge for decades, Tatiana, if indeed it was here, sure called it, didn't she.

Of course, if Anastasia was there with her, they would know that AA was a phony, of course.

If someone tells me they can talk to dead people, I assume they are either charlatans or deluded .
 Anyway ,Tatiana 'called it' so to speak  in December 1917 in a letter to a friend.
'' There are lots of foolish rumours out there in the newspapers . You probably read them, but it is all nonsense . They even sent us a newspaper clipping which tells of my escape to America ! I hope you did not believe this . I wonder who is wasting their time on such idiotic delusions .''

That's really interesting to see! Especially a video of the place and its surroundings. Thank you! I hope you had a lovely trip : )

Locals still go down there and fill up bottles with the water from the 'grotto' - several did so when I was there. Others seem to use place as a kind of 'lovers lane'. It's a peaceful place .

Ha , I always do TimM !  Nevertheless , I will upload some videos onto youtube over the next few weeks , and indeed I have already uploaded one . They were never intended to be posted publically . If they had been, I would have taken far more care to get them right - but they are what they are.

It would be cool to visit those places, walk where the IF once walked...

Freidberg , Darmstadt and Bad Nauheim were all very interesting .  Took a ton of photos and videos , not sure what I want to do with them yet.
