Hi all-
Today I noticed that the board "Imperial Claimants" is just "Imperial", also "The Question of Survivors" is just "The Question of". Is this just my computer? Does everyone see this? Also is it a mistake or were the board names changed?

Research Russian Roots / German princess or lady (??)

My grandfather told my mother a story about how one of our ancestors was a German princess who fell in love with and eloped with a gardener (and was disowned). Knowing that my grandfather wouldn't make this story up but that he might have stretched it a bit (maybe it was a lady, not a princess?) I have been searching but since I don't know her name it's particularly hard to find information on her. Does anyone know of anything like this happening? The time frame my mother gave me is nothing more specific than "sometime in the 1700s". I would greatly appreciate any information, even just her name and/or the names of the members of her family.

I've just noticed that of OTMA, Tatiana seems to be the one least talked about (or, at least, there are less topics about her). I was also reading the thread titled "Why Tatiana" and was just wondering if some people think of her as unlovable or unfriendly. (I don't think so, I think she's amazing, but I noticed this. )

I found this on livadia.org and I thought it was fitting for the day. (As I post, there's about half an hour left until my moment of silence- and I'm sure many of you will be joining me.) This was written by Olga and found in a prayer book of hers at the Ipatiev House.
Send us the patience, Father, to support us in this year of dark days and tempests, these persecutions of the people and these tortures of our executioners.
Give us the strength, O just God, to pardon the wickedness of our neighbors, and to carry the heavy bloody cross with your humility.
And in these riotious days, when our enemies strip us, help us, Saviour God, to suffer the shame and the insults.
Master of the world, bless us with your prayer and give the peace to our soul appeased at this terrible hour and unbearable.
And at the gates of the tomb, make us born again with the lips of your slaves the superhuman force of humble prayer for our enemies.
