I also have a question. I'll be coloring a pic and I'll be amost done (and really like what I've done so far), then I'll color something and it will come out not to my pleasing. Is there so way to erase it so I don't have to start over? This has happened alot of times to me and can get really frustrating.  :P

There's a history box that you can go back on. It's defaulted position is on the right side of the screen. This is a screen capture of basic photoshop. http://www.warwick.ac.uk/ETS/Resources/Photoshop%20Tutorials/Banner/Images/fig1.gif Note: it's not my screen capture.
But there are 3 boxes on the right side (look for the blue bars). The history one is the top one. You'll have to click on the "history" tab to get it. And before you start, check the preset of the amount you can undo. On my computer, I think the default amount is 10 undo's. You can probably change that though.

How you work it is say you did something 3 actions ago and you can't undo it back by simple ctl + z. The history box has documented actions up to a certain point, so all you do is count back 3 actions and click on the one you want and voila! Stuff you don't want is gone!

His Sailor Suit always comes out purple!!

How do you choose the colors? Do you use a preset or do you make your own? If you make your own, try taking a little more red out of it. Navy blue should be mostly blue with just a hint of red in it. Too much red will make it more purple.

It could be that she was following fashion. I believe it was a year ago or so when it was fasionable to wear white with cream or off-white. I never really got this trend, and since it's out again, it looks like no one else got it either.

Mandie, I understand where you're coming from. Speaking on experience, it's hard to look at someone else's work and then your own and be happy about it. I know I know... I've improved. But I started out just like everyone here, too. Anyway, I think you've improved so much since you first started. Anything you do with coloring I think you should do for yourself and personal enjoyment. Keep up the good work!  :D

Ahhh...... I do know how to fix it, but I don't have the program in front of me at the moment so I forgot what it's called. Without looking, I can tell you where it is though. When you have the paintbrush selected, there'll be an information bar at the top with brush size, opacity, and the such. And the thing you want has a check box next to it, and it's up on this top tool bar. If I remember correctly, you don't want it checked.

That would be so cool to go to! I was curious, so I researched a little. Is it "Nikolai's Roof" at the Hilton? If it is, it sounds great! The Hilton site said it was the first 4-star restaurant in Atlanta, and that people need to dress up to enter... meaning ladies in dress/skirt and men in jacket & tie. *Sigh* I want to go...

I ran across this picture of Marina, Duchess of Kent, in Greek costume and couldn't resist. Both pics are pretty much the same, except for the color of her jacket and cap. Couldn't decide which was better, so I posted both. They started out red, but the colors of dress and undersleeve (?) didn't look good with red, so I switched. Then I played around with the background color on the blue one. That looks good, too.

Here are my two new ones, can someone please tell me who are in the pictures?

The first one is Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, better known as the Queen Mum, or for those who frequent the Windsor threads, Cookie.

The second one is of Princess Alice of Greece, her mother Princess Victoria of Milford-Haven, and one of Alice's children... I'm assuming either Margarita or Theodora. I don't know which.
