Am I seeing this correctly, I radiator hanging on the wall through the arch in the photo of the King's Grand Staircase?

Here are a few photos from the same book as the plans.  There are much better color photos on line if you search through Google.

Ground Floor Corridor linking the Royal Pavilion to the Main Block

Drawing Room

The Billiard Room

Queen Victoria's Sitting Room with her writing desk - This appears to be a second floor room as there is a small balcony out the glass doors.  I am also assuming this room is directly above the large Drawing Room with the circular bay window as it also has a curved exterior wall.

There appears to be another wing that was added next to the Royal Pavilion from photos I've seen.

Here's the plan.  Sorry for the delay.  The title of the book is "The Victorian Country House" by Mark Girouard- printed in 1979

Here's Althorp's Ground Floor Plan - As I mentioned, this dates to 1822 - there have been lots of changes to the plans since.

I recently found floor plans of Nether Lypiatt, the former country home of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent with some great interior photos from the 1930's.  Also found floor plans and again great interior photos of Harewood House, home of the Queen's cousin - same for Alrhorp - detailed floor plan of that house dating to 1822.  If anyone is interested, I'll post.

Here's the floor plan of the complex I have as well as a brief description of the Palace taken from a guide book on Royal Palaces.  One is the "Tapestry Room" the other is "The Entree Room".  "The Entree Room" looks very similar in detail to the photos I have seen of the "Throne Room" but I believe they are in fact two different rooms based on the cornice detail and the detail around the fireplace.  You may have to save the brief description and enlarge it to view all the text.

Your quite welcome, the photos aren't from my brochure, I simply found them online - but it does appear to be from an older version of a brochure or guide book.  In any respect, there are some beautiful photos of the main rooms.  I recently purchased an older book on Sandringham that has circa 1889 photos of the house including the Prince of Wales Business Room, Morning Room, The Ballroom Corridor, Bowling Alley, Libraries, Billard Room, Princess Alexandra's Sitting Room as well as some great photos of the exterior prior to the Ballroom Addition, etc.  I'll try to scan and post them, unfortunately some are small and all in black and white.  Has anyone else noticed that in very early photos of the Great Saloon, there are doorways on either side of the fireplace on the south end.  At some point these have been made into concealed doorways - any thoughts on why?

Does anyone have any information or photos of the ground floor rooms on the north end of the house?  The only interior photos I've seen have been of The Saloon, Sm. Drawing Room, Drawing Room, Dining Room and Ballroom.  I've also seen a partial floor plan on earlier threads, but does anyone know if there are any other floor plans out there that show the relationship between the various rooms?  For anyone who has taken the tour of the house, are you able to give an idea of the rooms you go through and the relationship of each of the rooms to one another?  Thanks.
