The Imperial Family / Re: Costume Ball 1903
« on: March 20, 2010, 09:03:31 PM »
Were Prince Felix Yusupov and GD Dimitri attending the ball or were they to young to be invited?

If yes, are there any pictures of them in fancy dress? I was wondering how Felix with his special taste would have dressed.

Thank you for any information?

Norbert, I respect your minds! And all you said is truth.
I am so sorry she was massacred with husband. In that night soliders found her favourite book on shelf Le Transhion on page 80. She got more hits than her husband.... On YouTube you can see great documenatry about last Obrenovis, just put Queen Draga.

Also, she wrote autobiograph book I, Draga but it disappeared on night may 29th/June 11th 1903.

More informations of QD are coming!
warm regards,
nena

Dear Nena,

I can't find the link on youtube. Can you please post it again?
Thank you,

I was currious why Anna Anderson's remains were burried on the cementery at Kloster Seeon, where other memebers of Russian noble families lie. If she was a fake (what I believe), it doesn't make sense to me?

Can someone tell me something about is, please!?

No, I only read the one written by Barbara Levick. Would you reccomend? It's funny that you mention him I have been itching to read a fictional play about Claudius.

Hi GoldenPen,

yes I can really reccomend it! It's very interesting, thrilling and even sometines funny. Ranke Graves is a great writer and historian!
There are two volumes: I Claudius and Claudius the God.
Hello yussupov29,
Oh! I have herd of those two, I will take your recommendation and read them over the week. Have you read "Letter of the Emperor Claudius to the Alexandrians?"

Hi GoldenPen,

I hope you'll like it! Please tell me what you think about it! "Letter of the Emperor Claudius to the Alexandrians?": As far as I remember I haven't read it. Maybe in school? I was studying Latin and Greek for several years.

Have a nice week!

Russian Noble Families / Re: Kelch-family

As far as I know some of the eggs - like the Kelch hen egg and the Kelch Chanticleer egg - belong to The Link of Times Foundation, Moscow.
They were shown at a Faberge exhibition in Berlin a few years ago.

Is there any further information on Vavra (barbara) Kelch and her time in Paris? Did she remarry? Any descendents, etc.?

Hi,

I'm looking for information and pics on/of the Kelch-family from St. Petersburg.

I just know they were a wealthy, noble (?) family and that Alexnder F. Kelch ordered some precious Faberge-eggs for his wife Barbara.

Thank you!
