Well, im sorry to say, given my limited level of knowledge i would have to agree with Dust of history, all evidence seems to be to the contrary of leonid dying in iaptiev house, however i love to be challeneged and or proven wrong and would encourage you LifeOfJudaism to do more research into this. as i would dearly love to hear your results. its an interesting question.

Borscht or piroshki, maybe ? Pretty traditional.  Mushroom or cabbage soup as well. I love Russian cooking !

What is Piroshki Robert? if its simple, i might give it a shot.

Ive never heard of meat pies being called rat coffins, interesting name for them, dosnt realy build on the appetite though. Well i have 12 hours of study today so im leaning towards something a little less creative, like 2 minute noodles.  Tomorow, id like to cook something Russian, any suggestions?

two minute noodles are popular in our house with the boys, but tonight we are having chicken cattitore.

The perfect food for boys, its quick and simple and allows you to get on with the more important things in life.
