While i still dont have an answer as to his favourite colour, i can tell you that pruple was the Royal colour of the Byzantine empire, the dye came from an aquatic animal, i think a certain oyster but i cant be sure.

I've been waiting for a chance to ask this question, but the opportunity has never came up before now.

Did Aleksey have an operation to correct his cryptorchidism? I read that he did, it was successful, and there was very little bleeding. It was from a book, but as usual, I can't remember which one. I'm thinking it was "The Lost World of Nicholas and Alexandra" but I don't own the book, and can't check. I could also very easily have the wrong book.

That's interesting. I would like to know as well.
Yes i would love to hear about this as well. I cant see the tsar agreeing to surgery on the heir unless it was absolutely imperitive. could anyone with a copy of the book try and verify this for us?

I'm from Australia!

I have a friend who was told that by the time she was twenty she'd be in a wheelchair due to a bone condition.
But like you Ausmanov, she had faith and she's 49 now and still waiting for that wheelchair - not.

Now I know how you've chosen your username.
Clever thinking.
Always nice to hear from another Aussie. Im glad your friend made it through OK, its amazing what faith can achieve. Im 22.
yeah, i wasnt overly creative with my user name. Where abouts in Australia are you? if you dont mind my asking, im in NSW on the midnorthcoast.
Well I'm glad your both ok. I also terrible at spotrs, but that's just me.
I Know what you mean, we all have our individual talents, and us not being great at sports just accentuates our other talents.

Aww, you've had 23 operations?! They weren't to serious were they? Lady is a patient at the hospital. She has I believe pneumonia, and I think bronchitis as well.
Im very sorry to hear that, i promise you Lady Nikolaievna that i will be praying for you.
Im OK now, got a cople of scars from the surgery. Because of my muscles im terrible at sports and things like that but theres nothing wrong with my eye sight which was is still the biggest concern. Its an odd thing, my vision can remain focused but my eye itself still moves on occasion. I have the option of having surgery for it but i would have some rather visible scars for 6 months, thats the only thing thats stopping me. Full compliemnts to my surgeon, hes the best in Australia and has been like a second father to me.

I think thats the way it should. On reflection of my trip to Indonesia, half the boys there are very comfortable wearing pink, and so am I.
