Nicholas II / Nicholas' most influencial advisors

Okay,
I'm sorry if this has already been asked, or if it seems like a really stupid question, but I've looked and so far I can't find the answer. I'm fairly sure that aside from his wife one of Nicholas' most influencial advisors was an uncle, if not, please forgive me. Do any of you know their names?
