Royal Collection is a treasure indeed. they have some amazing pictures in amazing quality. Just "donwloading" them is a slow and painful process involving lots of screencaps and some photoshop skills....

actually it's way easier than that-all you have to do is get the web page source code(in Google Chrome the shortcut for it is ctr+u), scroll down & find links(there's one for preview image & at least one for the big one)

but isn't the dress too long for Maria? I think at the time when this picture was taken the hem of her dress would be slightly below her knees.

I'm looking for this one in b&w. it was colored by Tessel in 2008. any other pictures from that day(I used to have one of Alix) would be appreciated...

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, it's the same photo converted to b/w and then slightly enlarged. However it's all that I have right now. Hope it helps a little anyway.
