I now have the soundtrack. I downloaded it from soulseek.

There are 22 tracks. Those interested may of course contact me and I can send the mp3 files to you.

I didn't mean yours Lyssa ;) I meant the lyrics I posted.

213
Thanks Daniel, but I did not write that poem :) that is the lyrics to the Josh Groban song "Remember Me" from Troy.

Again, in honor of the Little One's birthday anniversary:

"Do not fear death, but rather the unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live."

--Tuck Everlasting

Remember, I will still be here,
As long as you hold me
In your memory.
Remember, when your dreams have ended,
Time can be transcended,
Just remember me.

I am the one star that keeps burning
So brghtly, it is the last light
To fade into the rising sun.
I'm with you whenever you tell my story
For I am all I've done.

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory
Remember me.

I am that one voice in the cold wind
That whispers, and if you listen
You'll hear me call across the sky!
As long as I can still reach out and touch you
Then I will never die.

Remember, I'll never leave you
If you will only
Remember me.

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory.
Remember when your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
I live forever!
Remember me.
Remember me.
Remember me...

Although it is not yet July 30th, I wish to post a quote from a movie that reminds me of him.

"Do not fear death, but rather the unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live."

Since so many of you enjoy the music, I would like to announce I have made a montage of the music to Irina Slutskaya, 2-time World Champion, Russian National Champion, 6-time European Champion, and Olympic Silver Medalist.

You can download the file here, and there are also 2 other montages using other movie music: Alexander Abt features music from Troy, and Evgeni Plushenko features music from the masterpiece The Ten Commandments. The latter is my all-time favorite score to my all-time favorite skater, both of whom I strove desperately to do justice to. Be prepared for a long file for that one, it is almost 13 minutes long. I hope you enjoy these montages.

The Irina montage is 9 and a half minutes, using the bootleg score.

Send me your e-mail address in a private IM and I will send it to you via yousendit.com! I now have two performances, an orchestral and piano version. The orchestral is done by Henry Mancini's orchestra and chorus.

Having Fun! / Re: what song reminds you of alexei?

"Bring Him Home" from "Les Miserables." For those who have not heard it, it's a prayer asking God to spare a life. It always brings to mind thoughts of Aleksey for me.

"Let Me Fall" from Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam, sung in English by Josh Groban. This song is a metaphor for dying.

:) no problem

Tara Lipinski was given instrumental versions of Journey To The Past and Once Upon A December before the movie's release by Fox, they asked her to skate to it to promote the movie.

220
Sigh, MIDIS are not suitable for skating either. Sorry. I am asking my friend to simply use her CD drive.

221
I heard that too, but that's not very good for skating LOL. Unless you're trying to be like Michael Weiss, that is.

222
Hey guys!

I'm in a tight spot here. A friend of mine is a figure skating coach, and needs an instrumental version of Once Upon A December (ANYTHING BUT THE POP VERSION) for a student! I have a piano version by Sally Harmon and orchestral version from the movie on CD, but my CD drive is on the fritz! Can someone help me out? She's been looking for this for weeks!

223
I have an mp3 of the beautiful main theme on piano, not from the ost but from another performer. The theme itself is featured quite a bit over pianists' careers.

224
Many thanks Helen. My friend Andy loves classical music, as do I, we both love Rach. He'll be really intrigued to hear it.

Did Rachmaninov have any sort of relationship or meeting with Anna Anderson? I know he was her benefactor with helping her get to the US. Sorry if it's a stupid question, I have great interest in Rach, and find this an interesting tidbit.
