  Hello Susann

It's a thin  child's  book. Cute, not bad for the price.

Well, I think this is the last one I've found.

"Marie Antoinette" by PH. Huisman & M.Jallut,   a very beautiful book on M.A.

I should have mentioned  this earlier, the books on Charlotte, Xenia, & the Palaces were from "Arlene".

Who sent them to me for posting. And a nice selection they were. Thank you Arlene.

I'll repost the last book, in case people may have missed it. "Enchantress,Marthe Bibesco and Her World". Only English biography on her, very interesting for people who would like to read about Romania. She was a writer & friend of Marie & Ferdinand.

Here's a Romanian one, "Enchantress,Marthe Bibesco and Her World" by Christine Sutherland. I think it's the only English-language
biography of her.

Alexandra Feodorovna / Re: Re: Empress Alexandra Photos
« on: February 18, 2008, 02:45:54 PM »

This may have been mentioned already. In "Noble Hounds and Dear Companions, The Royal Photograph Collection", by Sophie Gordon.

On page 37 there is a beautiful photo of Alexandra, around 19 standing next to Prince Albert Victor,Duke of Clarence,Queen Victoria,

Princess Beatrice, & Irene of Hesse. Alix has a smile on & I've never seen a photo of her & Eddy before.
