Victoria Luise was really close to her younger brother. The suicidde of Joachim in 1921 had to mark her deeply.

Joachim was actually 2 years older than Viktoria.

oh, everybody, I'm speechless, you do such a fantastic job with the colourization! I cannot find a word for them, they're just 'oh my!'...

and Alicky I did yesterday and I simply hate the way I did her skin here. Z'just AWFUL...

Well, you have to remember that photography did not come into wide use unti the 1860s.  Helene was born in 1834, making photographs of her as a child up to her early twenties would be extremely rare, if they even exist.
