Hello Everyone,

It would also be interesting and important to have a book on the Grand Duchesses who married into the Romanov family - eg - Aunt Sanny & Aunt Meichen, two of the grandest of the Grand Duchesses!!!

Also, "The Grand Dukes" still has not been published yet....
What's up with that - 2 years in the making???

Then you may be interested in "Deutsche Prinzessinnen in Russland" ("German Princesses in Russia") by Olga Barkowez, Fjodor Fedorow and Alexander Krylow. It includes seven chapters on: Empress Maria Alexandrovna (1824-1880), Grand Duchess Olga Feodorovna (1839-1891), Grand Duchess Alexandra Josefovna (1830-1911), Grand Duchess Elisaveta Mavrikiyevna (1865-1927), Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna (1864-1918), Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna (1854-1920), and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna (1872-1918).

The latter has an illustrated section but it's not a photo book per se. More like 1-3 pictures of each Grand Duchess--or portrait depending on the era.
