A book has been published under this title by the curator of the royal photographic collection:
http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayProductDetails.do?sku=5867325
They had a preview of it recently in the (London) Daily Telegraph, and I scanned a few of the pictures, which suggest that this might be a very appealing book. It is cheap too.

Princess Elizabeth with the corgi 'Dookie'.

Queen Alexandra with friend.

A dose of medicine being administered! I think by Princess Victoria and Margaret of Connaught.

The Duke of York holding a pug in a bonnet.

Princess Louise I think.

Thanks for posting the link. It's nice to find at least one cat among all the dogs!

In the 'medicine' pic, the administrator actually looks like it is Princess Helena Victoria to me (though it isn't a very revealing view). Something about the nose...

I've been gathering photos of royals and their various pets (not just British royals) for some time now. They were often photographed with them and the papers/magazines wrote many articles on not just the pet love but also the business side of it--ie the royal kennels, stables and catteries.

George V was a passionate horseman (more so than his father who was more into racing than riding) and enjoyed riding around the grounds of Sandringham, almost up until he died--I think he was out just a day or so before he was bedridden.

Jock (I think he may be the white horse above) was his favorite pony and participated in his funeral procession at Sandringham--Jock was the one he'd ridden out on before his last illness.

He was also a dog lover

While Queen Alexandra was surrounded by animals of all kinds, Edward VII was particularly partial to his dog Caesar. Caesar even accompanied him on his trips overseas and participated in his funeral. Postcards even commemorated Caesar's loss of such a loving master.

One of the most famous royal pets--George V's foul-mouthed, ill-tempered parrot Charlotte. Queen Mary wasn't too fond of this nasty bird and was probably relieved when she would accompany, as seen here, George V when he was overseas in France during WW1. Charlotte had her own little corner of George's tent.

It's almost impossible to find a photo of Queen Alexandra where she doesn't have a horse, dog, cat  or some combination thereof around her.  :)

Here she is with a little kitten:

She was particularly fond of small dogs, though she had a wide variety of breeds
