Yes the designs on the dress is beautiful, but I don't like the cut of the dress, and it does not look good on Beatrice at all.  Perhaps, she should go shopping at the mall this weekend, and maybe her grandmother would have a good idea about what she should wear.

The dress simply does not fit.  It need to be customed tailored.  Why Sarah does not understand this I do not know.  I would never allow a daughter or sister of mine to walk out of the house in a dress that did not fit especially if I new pictures would be taken.

Exactly Tampa I agree, the dress does not fit at all. I am sad to say...that she will so end up like Lindsay Lohan. But, hopefully she would'nt get as terrible as Britney Spears is because she is crazy she does not have the right to see her sons anymore becuase of what she did to the child. Like she left, him in the front see with out wearing a seatbelt. Very, stupid choice she did. She can't see her children anymore, becuase of her taking drugs, not taking good care of them and not being a good mother. Irresponsible, Britney is only making herself look bad. It is her fault. I knew right, why does Sarah allow her daughters to dress like that? it is bad. I would think, ther grandmother Queen Elizabeth II would let them know at least. She defantly would not have approved of this.

On the other hand, maybe Sarah said "This is great, Bea.  They'll be sure to take lots of pictures of this and will probably mention ME".

I tell you that girl (Beatrice) has an obsession with showing off her cleavage in a disgusting way. So far, all that she's been wearing are of the same cut when it comes to the top part of her clothing (evening wear anyways). She seriously needs to be shown all this tabloid stories about her.

Time for Beatrice to be allowed to wear some of the late Queen Mother's clothes. At least she had some class.

I thought she had already been raiding Great Granny's wardrobe (and getting at it with the scissors!)?

Tdora1's post is food for thought.  Don't Beatrice's parents see the way she being ridiculed in the newspapers?  Wouldn't they see this and take her aside for some advice on the way she presents in public and some of her clothing choices?  That Sarah is rather vacuous and publicity-seeking is known by most people, but where's Andrew in all this?

I don't think Beatrice's parents are paying attention to how she is dressing. Her parents need to take her shopping to the mall and get some better clothes, becuase the ones she is wearing does not work for her. If Beatrice started wearing her grandmother's clothes, I would think there would be more controversy for the paparazzi that it is now. Either, Beatrice probably did it to fit in with others or try to impress others. It would be realy rediculous if she started dressing like she is much older. I don't know why Sarah does not understand this either. Andrew has been out of all this, I wonder where he is also?

I feel sorry for her - she so clearly wants to be accepted and gain attention in the 'socialite-about-trendy-town' crowd but doesn't have the judgment nor the looks or style to be much more than an ongoing source of mockery and fail for the tabloids. I blame the parents. Poor kid.

Couldn't have said it any better.  Agree 100%.

She sure did.  Most of it third....

Still maybe it's not such a bad idea - after all, Halloween is fast approaching.............

You can't teach someone how to be comfortable in their own skin; for those who do not have it from birth, the only prescription is time and maturity.

She sure did.  Most of it third....

HA!!  You cheeky man.

"Having chosen a glamorous green Marchesa gown studded with crystals, she was no doubt hoping to attract some admiring glances. Unfortunately for Princess Beatrice, it wasn't the frock that turned heads. Arriving for a party, she stepped out of her car and her bodice slipped down – revealing rather more decolletage than royal protocol might allow. The 19-year-old princess's accidental slip happened after the Fashion Rocks extravaganza at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday night. Having left the fashion and rock show, held in aid of the Prince's Trust, she repaired to the after-party at the nearby Baglioni Hotel. Beatrice, who had shared a box with Dame Shirley Bassey and designers for Marchesa earlier in the evening, was ushered into the venue by her hosts and a bodyguard who tried to ensure that nobody stood on her trailing pale green gown....Alluding to her earlier difficulties, Beatrice remarked: "I love it but I keep on having to lift it off the floor and pull the bodice up." When the party stared to fill out, Beatrice was whisked into a cordonedoff area where billionaire Topshop boss Philip Green was holding court. Despite most of her party leaving shortly after midnight, Beatrice stayed beyond 1am to mingle with young guests such as Oscar Humphries, whose father Barry performed at Fashion Rocks...."

""She pulled the train up and wrapped it around her to make the dress a mini – just as Kate did with a Dior dress she wore at a recent bash," says my mole. Luckily, Beatrice's dress escaped intact – unlike Kate's, which ripped. Sounds like Bea, who I recently revealed is setting up her own clothing label, is quite the sartorial expert. " :o

Beatrice is always caught looking like a bug-eyed deer caught in the headlights or with a 'wonk' eye. I think she doesn't just need fashion lessons but how to smile & pose for the cameras and not be caught in such unflattering poses.   :-X

What a mess to make of a really beautiful dress.   She was modelling this for Marchesa who obviously thought the shade would suit Bea perfectly.   It does.   But, as for everything else, Marchesa must have been deeply disappointed.   There is not the remotest sign of elegance captured in any of those photographs.   A woman does not need to be beautiful in order to be elegant.   The Duchess of Windsor was a perfect example of this.   Her elegance made her beautiful.

From the facial gestures, I think Bea has been informed by her mother.   Those of us who are old enough will remember the wedding of the Prince Andrew to Sarah Ferguson and that horrendous procession down the aisle of Westminster Abbey with the bride winking and gawping - sometimes both winking and gawping simultaneously.   I can't remember who it was who reportedly said 'Ghastly, ghastly, ghastly'.   There was more than a scintilla of truth in this.

I'm sure Bea has had plenty of advice on how to dress.   After all, so certain is she of her fashion taste that she is setting up her own fashion line.   Well, for a start she should take a second look at the clutch bag she is clutching and its relationship with the gown she is wearing.   As for the facial expressions - I think she will probably require professional help.   I'm afraid this is an inherited habit.

Strapless dresses - hard to wear even for the most seasoned of celebrities.  Unless they are really well made, onto a boned foundation that fits like a glove, they are forever sliding down.  Plus a train on a strapless dress is a disaster waiting to happen.  All it takes is one fool to step on the hem and the whole lot has the potential to be around the knees, as opposed to around the bust.

One would have thought that strapless dresses were just something that royals would avoid like the plague; as I recall Diana got very bad fashion press for her strapless numbers.......plus the accident factor is so potentially increased with such a garment.
