The last parure was the sapphire one given to Marina, Princess of Greece on her marriage to Georgie Kent. The Duchess of Kent still has the centre necklace that doubles as a tiara.  :(

The first two I think were given to the Duchess of Gloucester (I could be wrong), one of the many diamond necklace she wore was one later given to Princess Margaret.  ???

Didn'y know the two tiaras worn by the Princess Royal & later Queen Mother. Help !!!  ???

The aquamarine Tiara (worn by Princess Royal)

Tiaras (G. Munn)p199 : "the aquamarine and diamond tiara made by Cartier and given by King George VI to Queen E. in 1938 as a 15 wed. anniversary present. it costs L 835. it has recently been shortened to make it easier to wear. (later wedding present from Queen Mum to Anne, still in her collection)

Anne has used the excess oblong aquamarines to make a pendant to complement her aqua tiara & earrings.

Yes I think so too, and the brooch is worn recently by Camilla...

Ooh, just had a thought, now that we've seen the Duchess of Cornwall in those ruby and sapphire necklaces, wouldn't it be delicious to see her wearing this emerald necklace for the banquet tomorrow night.  Camilla has worn some items from Mrs. Greville's collection, and this would be a terrific opportunity to bring out a really major necklace.  (crosses fingers...)  And maybe we could finally get a decent picture of the thing too.

I wonder if the Queen Mum left Charles the entire Greville collection (since it was left to her personally and not from the Royal collection) ?   ???

I thought this was established once before--the entire estate of the Queen Mother (save for perhaps a few small bequests to friends and servants) was left to the Queen in order to avoid the large inheritance tax.
