Questions about the grand duchesses' honorary regiments seem to come up regularly, so I thought it'd be nice to gather some info and photos in one location. Here goes:


OLGA
3rd Elizavetgradsky hussars regiment
Uniform colors: blue and red with gold trim

ANASTASIA
148th Kaspiansky Infantry
uniform colors: ?

No regimental photos of Anastasia are known to exist. WWI apparently interfered with such ceremonials for Anastasia. In lieu of that, here are photos of the regiment's badge, and the tsar blessing the 148th Kaspiansky in 1905:

Outstanding!  Sarushka. It seems OTM sat a horse well, at least on the parade ground, as did their father.
