I'm a big fan of Helena and Christian and I've even got some of my non-history-obsessed friends interested with tales of Christian's glass eye collection. Morbid people I know. :-)

What year were those photos taken Rani?? My guess is in the 1860s at some time, but I'm not really sure. The way they're displayed looks quite unusual.

It looks like the outfit she wore at the engagement session. Perhaps then? Also, the caption says Princess Helena. After her marriage, almost all photo captions said Princess Christian if that helps.
