I think it's high time to start a fifth section for this thread since the fourth already has 43 pages !

It's surprising because participants are able to find each time new photos of the Romanov !

"Stavka" in Russian is headquarters. Mogilev was the town where the military headquarters was located during WWI. So stavka and Mogilev are basically the same thing. (It's a little bit like how people talk about Disney World and Orlando as if they're the same place. ;) )

Sarushka, Stavka was first located in Baranovichi, then, since august 1915, in Mogilev!  ;)

Might be the imperial train. I'll try to remember to listen in the narration next time I watch the movie. My Russian isn't great, but it should be good enough for that. ;)
