I think Haley Joel Osment is better for Alexei than Jesse McCartney...(not that i don't like him) but personaly I think Haley is better. Any other options??

No, he plays Anakin in Episode II and III.  Jake Lloyd wsa the little boy who played Anakin in Episode I.  Christensen, while very very very good looking, is an AWFUL actor.  Haha.

i don't know who he (jesse mcartney) is, but i'll look him up, not sure about goeffry rush so i'll look him up too, but the rest are really good, apart from keira knightly, who doesn't seem very marie like to me ;)

Haha I dont care if he cant act lol hes good looking dats all dat matters to me  ;D ;D ;D :P

I just thought Keira Knightley LOOKED like maria....lol but i just realized shes TOO STICK THIN....

Another Suggestion is Keisha Castle-Hughes for Maria. May be Maori, but looks like Maria A LOT in my opinion...

I like the idea of Haley Joel *I see dead people* Osment as Alyosha, or if he was still young. Perhaps Freddie Highmore? He wore a sailor suit in "Two brothers" or something like that.

For some reason, when I think of a Maria, I kind of see Olivia Newton-John when she did "Grease." but I think only the eyes might be simmilar.  :-/ also, she had the sweet innocent smile.
