You know, Scarlett really does look a bit like Tatiana.  Perhaps I see it more due to her hair being covered....

Scarlett Johansson, who is known to play girls wise beyond their years, would make an excellent Olga wheras skinny, dark-eyed Keira Knightly would make a great Tatiana. Maria should be a younger version of chubbier Kate Winslett.

If any of you have seen Two Brothers or Finding Neverland, you probably know who Freddie Highmore is. He's a pretty amazing up-and-coming child actor. I just rented Two Brothers on DVD last night and when I watched it, I was struck at how much he reminds me of Alexei. He wore a sailor suit in that movie, and I was pretty much convinced he'd make a good older Alexei if a remake was done in the next two years.


^ This is him in Five Children and It. The picture's not that great, but it's an almost Alexei-like moment  ;)

^ This one reminds me of Freddie Findlay in Rasputin (minus the tiger).

Compare these photos with some of Alexei. It's a nice little resemblance. Something about this photo definately reminds me of Freddie:

Absolutely! I actually thought he would be a great choice since I first saw him as Young Arthur in The Mists of Avalon!
