Sarushka's taking a break

Sarushka, a very well known AP helping hand, is going to be on a hiatus for a bit. Below, I've included a note from her to the board:

Just wanted to let you know I'm taking a break from the AP for a while.
I won't be checking PMs, so if you want to get in touch, please visit

I'm always happy to answer questions about Romanov books or share
photos of the imperial family.

She's one of the AP members that I really look up to. Yes, her posts are all intelligent and sensible, never have I seen her answer or post impolitely. She'll be missed for a while.

For newbies and those who may have forgotten:

Sarushka was the driving force behind the AP book finder.  A lot of the work and research was done by her so that the rest of us could have one place to go to and decide if a book was interesting enoungh for us to borrow or buy.

When she was refining the idea, she talked a lot about "intellectual copywrites" and whether or not one could legally or should scan in the book covers

There was a thread on this and she had input from various authors who post here including Marueen Eilers.

Thank you Alixz for that information.  I've used the AP book finder several times before deciding to read any Romanov books, I'm really thankful to Sarushka for her work.

Sarah also very graciously scanned the text for us from her own copy of Eager's Six Years at the Russian Court, so that we could put it up on the main website's online library.
