Sounds like another one of those hokey books on Rasputin... Any title with the word "evil" in it makes me very wary. I can't imagine it would be worth the price.

It seems to be a reprint of a book published by Cassell, London, in 1918. The British Amazon site is selling a copy of the 1918 book for not more than 28.75 Pounds Sterling. It's also selling copies of a 2008 paperback reprint by BiblioBazaar available from 7.43 Pounds Sterling. And one can even get it for free as an eBook: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/22720.
