I disagree....the child is Grand Duchess Tatiana. If you look at the entire album, it is Tatiana

After looking at the rest of the album, I'm leaning towards Tatiana. There are several photos of Olga and this little girl with Nicholas and Alix, but I didn't see Ernie or Ducky appear in any of them.
In my opinion she's Tatiana.
The images come from here: http://www.statearchive.ru/437?page=2

I think that it's Elizabeth of Hesse as well. She's been photographed in similar outfits and the hair and face shape seem to resemble her more than Olga or Tatiana. Plus, the captions on the photos themselves in the archive say Elizabeth.

As the girl's outfit is similar to that of Olga in other pictures on http://www.statearchive.ru/437?page=1 and http://www.statearchive.ru/437?page=2, she most likely was not Elisabeth.

Also, the pictures  are said to be from 1899-1900, which is a further indication that she was not Elisabeth. When did Ernst Ludwig and his daughter join Nicholas and Alexandra on the Standart in 1899-1900?  I quickly checked  Nicholas' diaries for those years and did not find any references to any such trip in those years.

I think I opened a can of worms...
I'm working my way thru the album and the actual Ella appears on page five http://www.statearchive.ru/437?page=5 looking more Olga's size and bigger (by that I mean older) than the little girl in question.

There are so many mislabelled persons and places... they even wrote "house in Baden" were it it Wolfsgarten...
Most interesting to learn that Alexandra had her own copy of the famous "Darmstadt Madonna" by Holbein...

Yes, she got a copy during her stay in Hesse in 1896 as a belated wedding present. It was painted by a Fräulein Schäfer.

Thank you Helen and Thomas. I was also looking at the hair length of both Elizabeth and Tatiana. There is a picture of Elizabeth riding a donkey and her hair was thick and long.
