Oh, trust me Zelia, when I checked it out of the library (my local library had to order it from another library, so I had another three days or so to sit in my own excitement), I was so excited. It had a gorgeous cover and was about 300+ pages long. *sigh* Well, page 1 was good (I didn't know enough about the Romanovs then to realize that the age was wrong). After that, it went downhill. Finally, I stopped when Tatiana had her first affair. I'm sorry (actually, I'm not - the girl was 14!!) but I don't read junk like that, with trashy characters. Especially not Tatiana. TATIANA!! She was, to all records, a young woman who knew right from wrong. She wouldn't do that without getting married, especially not at that age. I'm just glad I didn't read any further - it just got even more rediculous. *groan* The cover was the best part. And that's pretty sad. Definitely don't judge a book by it's cover - sometimes the cover is better. Hehe.
Ahem. Please excuse my rantings.
