Defintely. I mentioned that on another thread of late. At George's wedding in England in the early 1890s, some people mistook Nicholas for George and congratulated him on his marriage. Also, some people mistook George for Nicholas too.

Sophie Buxhoeveden meantiones this in her book. Somebody was begging George not to come late for the wedding, thinking he was Nicky. I guess Geroge made it in time :)

I never knew something's gonna happen like this,eh.  Funny one!
I'm sure George felt bad when he was not congratulated on his wedding day!

Almost twins! ;-)
It was very simple to confuse them.

On one site, they labeled Nicholas as George and George as Nicholas! I'll post the link if I can find it. ;)

Oh my, that's silly.  LOL!  One look at the eyes and one can see the difference.  Other than that, they do look VERY similar.  My sisters (who are twins) look less identical than these two do!

I still can't find it!

I know that the website has red circles around Nicholas and George. Maybe that will help some of you find the website? It was posted somewhere on the forum.

I won't quote the picture as it  takes time to load for somebody else here.
Both are holding cigarettes. Yay. I think Georgie looks teary-eyed. He's got blurry eyes, as opposed to Nicky's clear eyes (just there on that photo)
Thanks for that Katenka!

Beautiful!, I like this kind of animations.
To think of it, there are several differences between the physiognomy of the face of Nicholas and President Medvedev.
As I said previously, they are not identical but just similar.
