Just remember, in bizarre instances like this, you'd better prepare for something uber crazy.  I mean looking at Rani's post with the morphs, is it not so convieniently coincidental that when Russia is going through another crazy time, we have leaders who look SO MUCH like Romanovs?  I am scared now.  Is Germany's new chancellor going to look like Kaiser Wilhelm?  That would make this all so much more creepier...

Tsar Nicholas and King George V of England were quite alike as they were cousins and both had goatee beards of sailors. However King George V had the bulging eyes of his Hanoverian ancestors - King Edward VII, Queen Victoria and the Georges back to King George I from Germany. Thats why his eye appearance was different to Nicky's.
Prince Michael of Kent bears a very strong similarity to his paternal grandfather King George V. Most of the Royal Houses of Europe were related through Queen Victoria's childrens and grandchildrens marriages. Queen Victoria was not called the "Grandmother of Europe" for nothing.

King Geeorge V, like his father King Edward VII and his mother Queen Victoria had the Hanoverian looks from Germany. The early Georges were Hanoverians, hence the bulging eyes. Look at pictures of the first three King Georges and you will see it.
