Thank you VERY much Sarushka and Daniel Briere.
Later years:

He reminds me of Maria in those photos!

I know! They have the same round-ish face, different from OTA.

Yes, I think that's it! And the way they look is also very simililar...
Does anyone has any formal photograph of Alexei and the Little Pair (if it exists, I've never seen)?

No, I have never seen any formal of them three together. Either it doesn't exist, or it hasn't been published yet. However, there are some, still rare, photos of the three youngest Tsar's children together.

Yes, I think we've solved it! :D Teehee. Anyway, I don't think I've ever seen any....only pictures with all of the children. I'm sure they're around though, just rare.

A bigger version I have just found from a 1906 formal photo:

http://otmaprivatealbums.deviantart.com/art/Alexei-in-1906-174417451?q=sort%3Atime+gallery%3Aot-Internet Explorer

If you want, you can download the original size (1553x2703) =)

I believe that picture of Alexei was displayed by the Empress in her sitting room in the New Livadia Palace. :)

Lady Nikolaievna, I have never seen that picture before, thanks for posting. Is there any reason why they always wore military uniform for formal pictures?

You're very welcome ;)

I believe that this military uniforms are part of the era, the clothing of kings and queens evoluted with time, and in the beggining of 20th century, that was a military time, a time of wars, etc... That's my opinion. ;)

That's correct. His name is Pyotr Vasilievich Petrov. The children addressed him in their letters from Tobolsk as "dear old P.V.P."
