Good topic nena¡¡¡

The first time i saw a pic of IF, was many years ago, about 20. I was studying History at University in those time. That Christmas my mother offered me the book of the IF by Prince Michael of Greece.

I was impressed, not only for the photos, but also fot the history of the each member of the family . My interest for them increased till today. I have been two times in St. Petersburg and each day i try to find more information.

Also, it could sound silly but coloring their old photos i have learn their features, their traits, their face expressions¡¡¡

The first pic i saw was this one

The first pictures I saw of the Imperial Family was in Nicholas and Alexandra. I first read the book in about 1972 or so. There were not many pictures available at the time so this place is heaven for all the pictures people post.

The first pictures I saw of the Imperial Family was in Nicholas and Alexandra.

Mine, too! I also saw the formal photographs of Nikolai and Alexandra and OTMAA in 1910, and several other photographs in general. Those were in Nicholas & Alexandra by Massie and I also saw a couple of others from The Royal Diaries: Anastasia by Carolyn Meyer.

(Borrowed from Ferah since I still don't have access to my own computer)
This was the first photo I ever saw of the Romanovs.  I first heard about them in second grade, long before the movie came out.  My mom had a set of encyclopedias and that was the picture that they displayed.

First picture I ever saw. I stared at it for a long time.

What a coincidence! LOL!
Nicholas & Alexandra and The Royal Diaries: Anastasia are pretty much the only Romanov books that I can find at almost every one of my local bookstores!
