Cäcilie is also younger sister of Princess Isabelle of Salm-Salm (married to Count Felix von Loë (1896-1944)) born 13 February 1903 who by all accounts is still alive at this remarkable age.

Cäcilie was the younger sister of Rosemary zu (!) Salm-Salm, who married Hubert Salvator, Archduke of Austria in 1926. Hubert was the second son of Archduchess Marie Valérie, herself daughter of Empress Elisabeth and Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.

Hubert inherited the famous "Kaiservilla" in Bad Ischl. His son Markus lives still there.

Cäcilie's sister Isabelle zu Salm-Salm died in January 2009 nearly 106 Years old.
