There's no evidence to suggest that one would be.
I mean, from the Romanov family, anyone who was
Thought to be dead have all been proven in death,
But I'm not sure about any general Russian claimant.

No Russian claimant was true and now that all the bodies have been found we know for sure. There was a claimant who turned out to be true, he was German not Russian, and it's a very interesting story if you want to read it.

It's always so annoying that museums don't allow you to take photos .  Espcially when I want to take photos of the Imperial Family portraits.

wow! that kasper hauser story is really interesting...it's so sad how some people will go as far as to kill and/or torture someone for their own personal gain, even helpless children...

Kaspar Hauser was not a Romanov claimant.  He was supposedly  an heir to some  minor German  royal family but that has not been proven.

Hi Robert,

Wasn't it the Badens?  I read about him years ago but have a fuzzy memory now about who he was supposed to be.
The badens sticks in my mind...

You may very well be correct, Larry.  I do not remember either and would have to look him up,  but now that you metion it, the Badens sound as good as any.

According to Wikipedia:

According to contemporary rumors – probably current as early as 1829 – Kaspar Hauser was the hereditary prince of Baden who was born on September 29, 1812, and who, according to known history, had died on October 16, 1812. It was alleged that this prince had been switched with a dying baby, and had subsequently surfaced 16 years later as Kaspar Hauser in Nuremberg.

Kaspar Hauser was neither Russian nor the French LXVII. Very sad story.

Well, he never claimed to be either.
