It never had it's own website? Are you certain? Because I saw a website about this book before - I definitely wasn't thinking of that other book, it was the cover and the title to your book.

It's had a page on my website since long before The Lost Crown was available for sale anywhere, but it was never available to buy directly from me. (I've recently redesigned the whole site, so you may not be able to recognize whether it's where you first saw the book.)

Strange, it's not only in italian. Maybe abroad it's not very used. Anyway... here it is. Maybe someone could be interested. It is a sort of on-line personal library. You can add thebook you wrote and know how many you read in a year and something like this. I was afraid to write down all the books i have in my house library, and most of those i read were from the public library. On Anobii it's much simpler to add everything.

http://www.anobii.com/ (hope it is the english page. If it's not, go to the bottom - right corner and select the language)

Wow, Sarushka! I've been a visitor to your website since I read Miss Spitfire a little under a year ago. But I've never noticed all your interviews and things! Good grief, now I feel all queasy - I'm talking to a celebrity!  :o :o :o

Here's a 10-minute interview I did on The Lost Crown back in September for the Lansing area library system. They put it online just before Christmas so I could share:

(Hope it's good -- I still haven't watched it myself.)

Terrific... I of course like the part when you spoke about them in the present tense...TN's voice etc.
That showed the creative process to me

I still haven't watched it myself.
It would be hard to watch a nearly 10 min video of oneself if one's not use to it
I suggest some vodka before hand lol!

Thanks for posting it!

Spoken American English is always a bit more difficult than written one for me, so i've to handle it with care - i mean, i'm afraid to loose something because i'm more used to READ english than to LISTEN TO it and sometimes i miss some words or the meaning of a sentence (speaking in general, not of this video); i'm going to apply my Russian way: listen to it again and again till i understand ( like i do with Russian R-ov films). Thanks so much for sharing, Sarah.

Nice interview, Sarah.

Tatiana never used contractions?  Sounds more like Commander Data :)

Oh! also "my" Tatiana speaks a very polished language! (but we don't have contractions in Italian, so i just used elegant words) *___*

In real life she probably did, but in the book she doesn't. That was the best way for me to convey her formality without calling attention to it.

Since I saw the interview I have been wondering what contractions are  and now I realize it means having TN say ,"cannot"  instead of  " can't"  etc...and it's freaking brilliant device.

I also noticed the part where you said you wish you could tell them what's coming, Sarah, and compared it to going back and saving the Titanic.  I couldn't agree more, you want to warn them all to get out of Russia and don't look back.
