Exactly my feeling, Holly! Whenever mine arrived Monday, then I didn't permit myself to read over page 208 (about halfway). Of course I finished it yesterday, then started it over yesterday, too, so I'm on page 223 of my second reading (and there will be more to come, I assure you!).

A party focusing on a Romanov novel with a samovar? I wish I could be there!  :D
That's so interesting about the music, Sarushka, I love those opuses from Marie Antoinette, even though I've never seen the whole movie, they always make me think of the Romanovs! Dustin O'Halloran should compose the music for a Romanov film!
"After the murder of the last tsar, my interest in Russian history completely dissolves." Same here!

I went on Border's website to see if The Lost Crown was in stock at my local store, and it was sold out! Despite my disappointment at not being able to go there and get it right away, I was so delighted that so many people had bought it! Congratulations!  :)

Two minutes ago:
Door beel rings.
Sunny takes the citophone: "who's that?"
reply: "A delivery"
Sunny (getting excited) "Oh! are you from amazon?"
"No, miss, i'm just bringing catalogs. can you open the front door?" (i live in a stoxck of flat with a general entramce. they always push MY doorbell because i'm the only one living on the first floor)
"Oh (disappointed). Well, if you wish..."

I'm getting mad.
