Thank you , Elisabeth  , but You have no reason to apologise , nothing for !
The reason for I posted all this photos only to show  everybody , that I don't put My  mark over  Katya's colorisings .
I have a large collection of photos , may be the largest , and there are so many versions of the same photos .
And each of us likes to colorise photos themself , I don't understand what is the reason for any of us  
to take somebody's colorising instead of  getting  pleasure  of   self-colorising  .

Coloring is for pleasure and for me is great pleasure to see different versions of a photos....But when we are speaking about uniforms i agree with you that when it's blue (and we know it by information) we can put green for example but it won't be the same....Also i think we are all trying to be closer to the truth....Like we know the colour of hair and eyes...it wouldn't set well again for example Alix to be with dark brown hair and green eyes....

And i'm greatly happy that you share your b&w version with us....indeed i've seen couple of rare ones posted by you.

anyways, if you find a picture in black and white with the notorious mark of another colorizer you SHOULD use to avoid "misunderstoods". You know well if you want a b&W version of a picture, you can ask for it here. We got an special topic for request like that (or ask for the B&W version of the one who colorized, as Irina did a few days ago with this very same picture)

Besides the similarities in colors (like the medal sashs, background and etc etc) you SHOULDNT edit other people s work like you did with the one of nicky as hussar, the one of nicky on the horse and another one of Nicky s profile (those displayed on your gallery). That s disrespectful.

As i told you in th PM i sent you, you re a great colorist , that why i didnt understand why you did that (and why you edited my notoriously marked pics).

End of the discussion. If someone has doubts about what im saying, i ll send the info via PM. This whole topic really pisses me off cause, i know im not a great colorist as Ally, justine and others, but i like what i do

I never edit Your works . If I want , I make My own colorising , it's much better than edit Your  works . 
If I posted somewhere Your photos edited by someone , with Your mark , it doesn't mean that I edited Your work .
May be somebody of thousands people using internet found this picture and tryed to do it better ?

And   again  I tell You , if You colorised some photo it does not mean that nobody can colorise it withought Your permission .
I have My own B&W photos  and I'll never ask Your permission to color photos , which I have on My computer .

oh god. Of course B&W pictures  are free to use, no one is saying other thing., What it piss me off is found my pictures edited with oh coincidence! the same edition you give to your own creation.



No one is saying you cant colorize pictures, i ve seen your work and its awesome, but, can you explain why all those pictures  were in YOUR galleries?. Why if you ask to another colorist over here to put their pictures in your videos WHY YOU DIDNT ASK ME to put my watermarked work in your webpage?. Come one! we re members of the same forum and we post colorized pictures in the same place. I knmow that "Faces from the past" is GD Ally, I know that Justine is Alix of Hesse (justine over here" i know that TZ its you. Why you posted those pictures and you didnt ask me (or just tell me)  and you ask another to put those colored pictures in yout video?

PS: i wonder why you used the one with "some of my mark removed" instead the full version you posted. That one its much much better than the one i used!

That happens because you re pretty good colorizing. Remember when in a russian website people thought that your colored pics were Prokudin-Gorskii`s ones xD.

Well...at least they re not selling them . When the page opened i thought they were selling prints of your work. You should contact the girl and lettinmg her know that s your work or do the same thing i do..put HUGE watermarks across. Its not nice but prevents people of delete then, steal your job and even modify them ;-) .

Im saying just in case. Plus, happens that if someone finds a  nice colorized pictuire withput watermark, this person can use it for profit.

Look what happened to Lanie a few years ago

Thats why colorizers should protect their work with watermarks, always.
