As many of you may know, the last surviving daughter-in-law of King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia of Spain passed away this week in Rome.

Doña Emanuela de Dampierre was the wife of the Infante don Jaime of Spain, Alfonso XIII's second son. They were married in ARome in 1935, but divorced twelve years later.

Even though she remarried Antonioo Sozzani, Emanuela retained use of her Spanish title.
