I've only seen one other photo of the whole family before the youngest son's death in 1904.

I guess taken late 1900 or early 1901. Irene still dressed in black for QV or Empress Frederick, or both.

In the trio of pictures above by Svetabel, I find so much resemblance to Anastasia.  Especially in the middle picture.  From the eyes upward and the shape of the face and mouth.  Those strong Hessian genes!

...and was it not Irene who was very vocal about Anna Anderson's claim of being Anastasia?

Well I wouldn't say she was very vocal. Irene did go and meet her.

Henry ended up banning the mention of AA in there home as it caused Irene so much grief!

There were a good number of them published in 1902 when Henry took his tour to the US. The US press was very interested in the life and family of their visiting royal. Henry Jr's death in 1904 received a little more attention because of this then it might have otherwise, I think.

Overall, Henry spent so much time apart from his family in the early years that it was probably hard to get them all together for photos.

I bought a version of the one Svetabel, as well as one of Irene with Waldemar & Sigismund, from ebay over a year ago--not cheap.  :P :(

That was the first royal photo I got off of ebay. It was from a Chicago newspaper from 1902 about Henry's visit.

did his 1902 visit include Chicago? I cannot find any facts if this was the case.

Yes, he did visit Chicago. While there he stayed at the Palmer House Hotel. During this visit, he also had one of his only brushes with any kind of gossip or scandal when he visited the Everleigh Club, a brothel. Ada and Minna Everleigh (their real last name was Lester) opened the brothel with a $35,000 inheritance. The Everleigh club boasted rich furnishings, world-class artwork, luxurious accommodations, succulent meals, and of course, beautiful young ladies. At a time when the average working man made no more than $10 a week, one could easily spend $200 for one night at the Everleigh with the $10 admission fee, $50 for dinner, $12 for a bottle of wine—and the fee (averaging about $50) for the evening’s female companionship. Members of the city's elite frequently dined (and probably more  ;) ) there. Rumors has it that Prince Henry, while dining at the club, was the first to drink champagne from a young lady’s slipper, creating the fad. In October 1911, under pressure from reformers, Mayor Carter Harrison II closed down the Everleigh Club for good.

There is some film footage of Henry in Chicago visiting Lincoln's Monument.

chicago had a HUGE German immigrant population and people of German background were the largest ethnic group in the city from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s. Henry no doubt went to chicago due in large part to the large population of former countrymen, especially also due to the fact that the Chicago Germans held onto many of their German identities and social/cultural doings.

I cannot find the source, but I recall that during the turn of the century period, Augusta Blvd was named in honor of the Kaiserin. could this have been done/dedicted by Henry?

the Palmer House was the "place" for royal overnights. Potter and Mrs. Palmer thought of themselves as American royals, and in fact, attended the coronation of Nickolas II.

How sweet! Poor little Prince Henry, he reminds me in looks (somewhat) of his cousin Prince John. Is this from a book? It looks like it might be from about 1902--there were a lot of photos of Henry and his family (in various combinations) that were published around that time to publicize his trip to the US that year. Irene got a good deal of coverage as well, even though she didn't accompany him--probably the most of her quiet life.  :)
