Yep it is Marie Antoinette from 1938, Anne Frank really went to see it I've read in someone's memoires(I have those from her best friend, Hanne and Miep Gies), It is a great movie, and as you know I'm into classics and modern cinema, so I don't really care. Marie Antoinette is just a masterpiece, much better than the 2006-version I think, they both are good but I prefer the classic movie.

wow you have read the memories ! i've never seen MA 1938 but i bet , like you said that its better than the 2006 one

i always remember that on a tv show they got an old woman to reviwe MA 2006 and all she said was ' its about a French queen but they speak with American accents' & ' you dont even see her head gettin' lopped ( chopped) off' i was in stiches

Gosh, that's quite review, I think the 2006-one has its charmes but that the 1938 really is much better, but the most correct movie about Marie Antoinette i have seen, and have on DVD, is Marie Antoinette: La Veritable Histoire(translated: Marie Antoinette, the true story)

Anyway; if someone could colorize them, i just would be grateful.  The movie was intended to be in color, so i just wanna see how it turns out

Which Coloured picture thread is current? It seems that they are both being posted on, but this one is the 25th thread, were the other one is the 26th. There isn't any point in having two threads, so I'll temporary close this one to encourage posting on the most current thread.
Feel free to repost any colourings from here to that thread for discussion, etc. ^_^
