Unfortunatelly I don't know, whether they had ever met together, nor how relationship they had each other(athough they were relatives).

But I know very well Castle and Park in Rusovce. Despite of ages of reconstruction The Castle is still in poor ruined state.
I have also heared rumours, that Slovak govemment intends to use castle as a residence and accomodation for forgein state visits.
But at least what I know even nobody did official annoucement and decision, therefore is fate of the castle still uncertain.
Although I read somewere, that Stephanie's last will was to legared Estate in Rusovce to Benedictins.
I don't know a lot about that matter. Maybe you newfan has closer information.

Here you can see the castle nowdays...

Actually reconstruction of the castle has been started many years ago, but never finished. I did't express myself correctly.
I used to go there and play in the park as a child. This summer I have spent in Rusovce few days as well. Dispite of all I like castle and it's
surroundings a lot.

The Estate in past:

Stephanie and her husband Elmér Lonay

Hi newfan,

thank you for posting so many wonderful links!
You guessed correctly. I am from Slovakia like you :). Not so far from Rusovce... :).
Rusovce was indeed residence of SLUK many years ago.
The name of castle which you posted above is Hradok (in Liptovsky Hradok). I must admit, it's realy beautiful as well.
Among my favorite slovak Chateau and Castles are surely Bojnice and Červený Kameň. I have not been there since my shool times.
Perhaps I should do small trip and visit them again...
