I recently saw a picture of Alix in a book, in a theatrical pose for Queen Victoria (I think).  The caption for the photo was "the novice".  Anyone have that photo?

I haven't been able to find that photo, but here's a theatrical pose that was new to me:

Hesse that is a rare picture I never seen it before I was happy to see it wow I think it was taken around 1890 or 1891.

This is my favorite picture of Alix and Nicky together.

Thanks Justine !!! For a better and bigger version I was talking about the picture that Thomas Hesse posted looks like it was taken around 1890 but that photo you posted yeah it could be 1894 but I read that it was taken in England around 1895.

I was just going through all the pics of Alexandra and have come to the conclusion that the years and stress were not kind to her. 

Poor thing, she really went through alot.
