But you guys do realize that her birthday is tommorow, right

I've seen both dates for her birthday.  Why don't we just spread the cheer over today and tomorrow :)

Olga was born in the 19th century, when the difference between the Russian and Western calendars was only 12 days. In the 20th century, the difference lengthened to 13 days. That's why you'll sometimes see two different sets of dates.

From 1895 through February of 1900, her birthday was celebrated on 15 November according to the New Style calendar. After March of 1900, the correct date to observe the anniversary of Olga's birth in the west became 16 November.

To dear, lovely Olga: Happy Birthday!  I hope you and your family are having a lovely time up there. You did not deserve to die so young.

To Olga Nicholaevna:
You were so young,
Just hardly grown,
And yet and twenty-two you'd flown.
No time for a kiss, or lingering in his arms,
For those you loved were too low for your charms.
But time to weep, and know your fate,
You deserved a better end than this.
--A poem I wrote for Olga.
Rest in peace, dear grand duchess.

You seem to have your Olga's mixed up.  This thread is for Olga Nicholaievna, the daughter of Nicholas II.  The Olga you're referring to is his younger sister.

Opps! This sort of mix up is exactly why Marie called her eldest sister, "our Olga".

4 January 1916
My Golden Papa!

.....In the evening , the day before yesterday, we laughed and laughed. Old aunt Olga rang our Olga, that one of the soldiers from her combined regiment had asked her to come and visit her wounded from that regiment. So then, Olga goes to ring the duty room where Kulyukin was on duty, and a duty guard answers and asks, "Who is on the phone?" She answers, "Olga Nikolaevna." "Which Olga Nikolaevna?" "You don't know Olga Nikolaevna? The one who lives above you?" "No idea what you are on about." "Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna - have you got it?!" and then she began laughing nervously when he got all offended and said, "Madame, this is an official telephone line and prank calls are not allowed!" and hung up. Olga stormed out. Within five minutes in comes Tatiana, she rings, the guard knows her, and she explained everything. Yesterday Kulyukin came to the Liturgy and asked Olga's forgiveness of Resin, as he didn't expect her to ring and thought someone was having a joke.....

Of course "The Governess"  knew the guard!

"Give my love to all who remember me."

  Olga Nikolaevna

What happened in March, 1900? If you have in mind the addition of the extra day's difference between the two calendars (which I think you do) why would it not have occurred on New year's Day , i.e. January, 1900? I must say I 'd never heard of a February/ March changeover date.
