Anyway, I just fell to Marie Feodorovna's thread and saw some of her photos when she's young.
Her eyes resemble a bit like Maria's. I also saw a photo of marie and Alexander together. It seems like Alexander also got those saucers.
Therefore, I should say that Maria inherited her eyes from the Glucksburgs and Romanovs.

I didn't read it on a book, but on a forum. I suppose it was on this one, but maybe on a French one. I've visited a lot of OTMAA and NAOTMAA sites and blogs in the last five years.

I don't know why the whole matter is so terribly important. The Emprees could have said it or not. My own granny - who is NOT and Empress always said that I should be prettier with lighter hair, cause my face is a little pale and a blondest hair could have enlightened it (my hair is dark blonde, as Olga's one). And I'm sure that my granny didn't want to be mean when she said it...

You believe you are right. I don't think Minnie said it to be mean, but it believe that it is still, not a kind thing to say. But of course, that is just my opinion. If I was Maria, I would have been terribly hurt. But of course, we don't know for sure that Minnie said anything. I hope she did not.
