I was reading in Robert K. Massie's Nicholas and Alexandra today and came across a section on Sonia Orbeliani, whom I had never heard of until today. Does anyone have any more information on her than he provides in the book or any pictures?

Hmm, interesting that I didn't find anything on her when I searched. Thanks for the links!

Hello for all- first I must apologise, my english is aufull.

From Sonja (Sofia Orbeliani) i read great books lately, its serie of 5 books. Author of these is Finnish writer Laila Hietamies and its originaly in finnish also translated in estonian, dont know is there any translation in to english.

Stori starts from Finnish first president Karl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim and his relations with Russia and Orbeliani and also Romanov family.

Here's a photo of Alix & Princess Orbeliani, taken at Livadia in 1912.

[from Nicholas II, by Marvin Lyons]

I believe I have another of the Princess somewhere. I will post later if I can find it.
