Tatiana through the years.
« on: January 15, 2009, 12:26:52 AM »
I have wondered what Tatiana would have looked like through the years had she lived a normal lifespan. I would love to know what Tatiana would have looked like in her mid to late 20's, in her 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, past 80 years of age, perhaps at 90 years of age. We see The Imperial Family as they were at the time of their death in 1918 when Tatiana was only 21. But had Tatiana lived a normal lifespan and beyond to become a very elderly lady, just what would she have looked like through the years?

It's difficult to imagine what she would look like. I don't now if there's any way that we could make pictures age ( age:that is we would make the person look so old).

Amazing colored fotos  by the most wonderful Yelena Aleksandrovna. Endless thank you very much!

Well here is a treat.

This is Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna.  The youngest sister of Nicky.

  In her prime.

Later years before she died.  She died at the age of 78 at an upstairs flat above a beauty shop in Canada.

Olga A did look somewhat like Tatiana- Tatiana's looks favored her father's side more than her mothers', but Tatiana was far more beautiful. I think Tatiana would have made a great flapper- she had that look. I think looking at Irina A, Tatiana's cousin and how she looked during the 1920s gives an idea of how Tatiana would have looked then.

Could someone please post some age progressed pictures of Tatiana showing her at various ages had she lived?

In the Claiments section there is a thread on age progressed photos, but none shows Tatiana.

It would be interesting if someone could post some age progressed photos of each of The Imperial Family showing what they would have looked like over the years had they lived.

You need this program to do that... and plus it will take a while to get it all done...If you want it  accurate. I'm not sure if you could buy it though. I do not know anyone that has it ether. This is what i have heard

True that Tom.   Irina seemed to have aged rapidly after leaving Russia.   Reminds me of the pic of Olga and Alexei on the Russ,  Olga face looked hard and aged.  When I first see it I thought "Wow Olga looks like she is in her late 20s early 30s, instead of her age of 22."    I guess stress can cause primative aging.

If the children were able to escape, I do think stress would have made Olga and Tatiana age quick.  They'd all be stressed and depressed over what they escaped from, and the older two would have been the most worried about Alexei's health.  They would have turned out like Alexandra.

Its a shame that Alexandra aged so quickly. I think that Olga would have looked more "aged" than Tatiana. Somehow I can only see Tatiana with a pale, gaunt, thin, face with a few lines. Olga, well that last photo on the Rus shows it all, like rosieposie said.

But, sorry for off topic, Tom, of course Alexandra aged quickly, she worried a lot, had health problems, and had another problems too, so it caused her looking older, even in Tsarskoe Selo 1917 photo.

I agree nena, Alexandra had a horrible life in a way, like you said she had many physical and emotional problems. At least in a way OTMA were saved from any future pain (especially if they had turned out to be carriers of hemophilia)

General Diterichs in his book on the IF after the abdication remarked that even soldiers guarding the IF in Tobolsk & Elaterinburg commented on the appearance of Alexandra Fedorovna. They remarked that she looked so weary and old though she was 4 years younger.

People change a lot during the life. I can't imagine her as an old lady

Well, fate was unmerciful, so we didn't (unfortunately) parry to see her as an old lady, as none of Imperial children.
