I wouldn't want to be royality, seriously, if it was back in the early 20th century.

From reading the stories of Olga A, her life was based on protcol, everything was planned out such when to get up, when to have meals when to go to bed.  Also you couldn't marry for love, it had to be a marriage based on the approval of both parents.   It was a rariety to find a relationship where the couple were deeply in love ie Nicholas and Alexandra.  However Olga A spent nearly 15 years (am I correct at that) being married to a count who was homosexual.  She didn't even have sex with him and slept in her own quarters.  Basically it was a marriage of just friendship.   Until she finally meet the man of her romantic dreams who happened to be a commoner.

Today however Royality is more famous then ever.   Everything you do would be dissected by the public, look at Wills, Harry, Beatrice, Zara and Eugenie.   Everything they are doing being gossiped about,   My early recollection was of Zara (Daughter of Princess Anne) was said to have had piercing done to her tongue and navel and how that was a big OMG.
Then we move on to Harry whom has had so much bad press over the years.   A former boyfriend of Beatrice was a criminal while Wills is being scrutinised over his relationship with Katie Middleton.

This isn't a life I would want not back in the early 20th century nor today.

That's just what's hard in being a part of a royal family. You can't control your life. if we're gonna ask the blue-bloods right now (especially the younger ones), they'd quote they wish they were just normal people. As for the case of Charlotte Casiraghi, she's lucky because her Mama wouldn't like her to experience what she had before on being a dog with the royal protocol.
Right point, rosieposie!

Well, I guess if I was a royalty, I would help people who were poor etc (as others before me said). But living as Anastasia or one of her sisters means, that you'll probably die at age 23, 22, 19, 17 or something like that. So I think I wouldn't want to be royalty, when I know I'll end like this. But to live in the Imperial Family for a week or couple of days... I guess it would be fun.

Hmm... a thought came across me as I re-read this post. What part of the world would you be a ruler in? In my politic views I tend to be a Consituion monarchy... I think how you view a politic agenda and the culture of a certain area, and the current events would effect the outcome of you succession.

I would like to rule a constitutional monarchy type. That would be better. I won't overrun anybody and that would be so good.
